Bright, bold hues are still quite on trend, so I thought I would show you an engagement look that packed a little extra punch in more ways than one. Bangles for both arms that can be mixed and matched in multiple ways, a brooch to go on a purse or in the hair and gold strappy sandals round out this ensemble that is sure to keep the Bride-to-be the star of the show. Enjoy!

The following email was sent to me from a friend…..
I was recently invited (via Facebook) to my cousin Kathy’s engagement party. Apparently she and her fiance Bill are hosting their own fundraising engagement party to pay for a lavish wedding they can’t afford. The Facebook invite indicated that tickets are $15 and can be purchased from a few friends of the bride and groom. If you think this is tacky; read on it gets much worse….
Upon talking with my cousin Terry (the bride’s sister), I discovered there will also be a drawing for a bottle of expensive wine and a silent auction, with all proceeds to the bride and groom to be.
The kicker? Although I have been invited to this party (which hasn’t even happened yet) I have already been informed by the bride I am not going to be invited to her wedding as its going to be a small wedding in the Florida keys. I find it comical I was invited to an engagement party to help pay for a wedding I am not invited to.
Needless to say, I have already informed the bride I won’t be attending her engagement party. LOL
