DIY: Flour Hearts & Pretty Color Palette

I chose to pull today’s “pretty palette” from the lovely photo below for two reasons. The first being that I love the soft colors in this photo. The second reason is because this picture is from a super cute DIY project that is a really fun idea for an outdoor wedding!
These stenciled flour hearts from A Practical Wedding are an easy way to dress up the ground at a backyard or garden wedding… or even to customize an outdoor wedding aisle! As long as you don’t mind walking over the hearts in your wedding gown. If you do, this may be better suited for brides with short wedding dresses. Stenciled ground decor would actually be quite cute at any event – say an outdoor shower, engagement party or rehearsal dinner?
