DIY: Chocolate Kisses Mini Candy Pot Favors
Sweets and treats are always a cute favor idea. I found these adorable mini terra cotta pots that fit in the palm of your hand and thought they’d be perfect for making wedding or shower favors! Give each guest an adorable mini pot filled with Chocolate candy kisses!
I always have a hard time throwing away pretty paper and fabric scraps. I just can’t pass up the chance to find a home for charming little patterns and prints! So, I’m constantly trying to find ways to use them in other projects. These candy pot favors are the perfect way to put those piles of scraps to good use! Fabric is an adorable way to dress up these pots and incorporate your wedding colors into your favors.
Materials
Mini Terra Cotta Pots
Paint & Paint Brush
Mod Podge
Fabric Scraps
Chocolate Candy Kisses (Or candy of your choice)
Step 1: Paint the inside of your pots.
Step 2: Preparing small sections at a time, paint the Mod Podge onto your pot and begin sticking on your fabric. You can mix and match fabrics, overlap patterns or try to line it up the best you can. Whatever you think works best with your fabric. Don’t worry if your fabric is handing off the edges.
Step 3: Trim any fabric sticking off the edge of the top or bottom.
Step 4: Repeat. I like the idea of choosing fabrics with different patterns and a similar color palette so that each favor is unique but they still look nice together as a whole.
Add on a simple tag to thank your guests for celebrating with you! These could even make cute escort cards or place settings. Just picture how they’d look when set up in volume at your event. One for each guest, how sweet!
